Furthermore, offers an application for Medicare Part D Extra Help on its website. If you go online, you can see if you’re eligible for benefits, apply for benefits, estimate future benefits; if you get a password you can change your address and telephone number, and start or change direct deposit, and change your password or electronically block access to your personal information.

People only tend to do negative ratings however my experience wasn't bad. Moderate hold while call volume was being handled and was assisted quite well afterwards.

I have tried twice to call in about pending benefits. I am put on hold for 5 minutes and then disconnected - both times! How are citizens supposed to reach you?????

Numbers are incorrect. When you get the correct number you get disconnected. Please improve your service to taxpayers.

We have tried multiple -multiple times to call and stayed online for over an hour just to talk to a representative, however it keep get disconnected and no one picks up. When you try to go for walk-in and explain gatekeeper same thing he does not help and ask to just keep trying and trying and one day you will able to connect was his response.

they put you on hold saying you'll be connected to the next available agent; you wait for 15 minutes and then they tell you sorry and disconnect you. Poor Service

Waiting 7 weeks now for a benefit to be processed. I call over there and wait on hold for 30 minutes only to be hung up on after being told there is no one available to take my call. Our government at its finest. JEEZ

I waited for a scheduled phone interview for a month, I have to leave my job 2 hours earlier in order to be in this scheduled appointment. Nobody called me or email me. After waiting for more than an hour I called the office. I waited for 38 min & nobody answered & eventually the call dropped. It is so stressful to call this agency.

I have been waiting for 9 weeks for approval of an application for Social Security retirement benefits. It is a standard claim with all data being accurate in the system. No one has contacted me to request additional info -nor should they need to do so. I finally tracked down the number and although it is toll free # there is no calling tree to select options. It identifies the line as busy and hangs up. This is unacceptable and a total disregard for customer service. Especially so as this a source of financial support on which peoples lives depend.
