Faith Crusades rescue mission distributes more than 10 tons of food to Montgomery families in need

Montgomery Advertiser - 11/20/2020

More than 10 tons of food was given to Montgomery families Friday just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, thanks to a $15,000PNC Foundation grant.

The Montgomery Area Food Bank was awarded the grant and partnered with the Faith Crusades Montgomery Rescue Mission to distribute the food at the Bargain Center on Mount Meigs Road.

"PNC's generous support is most certainly in step with the foundation's core value of strengthening and enriching the lives of neighbors in communities where PNC families live and work," Al Bloom, the communications officer for the food bank, said in a press release.
