Urban Ministries of Durham - Hope/Believe Recovery Program is an intensive three to six-month live-in drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for adult homeless men and women. Participants also receive case management, support, and connections to housing and employment services. The goals are to provide recovery in a structured and supportive environment and ultimately empower participants to manage their illness, maintain sobriety, improve health and wellness, and move to self-sufficiency. The program incorporates education about addiction illness, role modeling, peer review and accountability and a system of rewards to encourage and maintain sobriety.
