Youth Mentoring Collaborative (YMC) is a capacity-building organization that is dedicated to increasing the number of youth in quality mentoring relationships across the Carolinas while working to address the systemic barriers that young people face on a daily basis. This includes providing the leadership and infrastructure necessary to support the expansion of quality mentoring relationships and serving as a clearinghouse for training, resources, and public awareness and advocacy. YMC provides free and low-cost consulting services in key functional areas to increase organizations' capacity to serve young people. This can look like any of the following: - Training and professional development for staff, volunteers, etc. - Supporting the development of operational materials like policies and procedure manuals - Strategy: resources development, community engagement, recruitment - Program Evaluation: logic model development, program survey development - Program design and planning - Executive management: Board development, recruitment strategy YMC serves youth-serving organizations, companies/businesses, governmental agencies, K-12 schools, higher education groups, mentors, and mentees.
