RI International: Durham Recovery Response Center (Crisis Facility)

The RI Durham Crisis Recovery Response Center (RRC) is a behavioral health facility providing an alternative option to Emergency Department drop-offs. If the person in need of care is suicidal or exhibiting symptoms of substance abuse and/or mental illness, and is not in urgent need of medical intervention, First Responders may take them directly to the RRC. The RRC provides medication restart and/or stabilization, group therapy, and referral to ongoing/long term outpatient services. The average length of stay at the RRC is 1-4 days.
