Excellent service for the community. Mental illness is still a stigma in our society today. Many families struggle to get a loved one help. It is heartbreaking. Durham CIT trained police officers have helped in several occasions to get my adult child help & hospitalized with dignity, compassion, professionalism, and trust to handle in best safe way possible. For this I am thankful and believe more police funding is needed.
